So you want to make a character!!! Lets build one!!! Basically, a character starts out with a Race (dwarf, elf, human, dragonborn) and class (wizard, archer, cleric, bard). Books were created and you had to manually go through look everything out and fill out a blank character sheet… it was not very fun. Thanks to computers and nerds we now have online character builders, which is what I use in my campaigns. Although, story trumps rules, so if you have something cool that you want to do let me know. I’ll figure out how to make it work!
Some people like to choose their class first. Play anything such as a brutish barbarian, a wise druid, a crafty rogue, or honor bound paladin.

If you aren’t sure what class you want to be click here and take this quiz!
Here’s the Buzzfeed version of the quiz too!
Some people like to decide on the race of the character first. We have your standard Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, and Orc…. but read up on some other your other options. Dragonborns and Aarakora are cool, and one of my personal favorites is Genasi. I suggest picking something that makes sense with your backstory and your class.

EXAMPLE: Elf and ranger make a great pairing. Elfs have a natural +2 Dexterity and a Primary Ability of a Ranger is Dexterity. On the other hand, it could be fun trying to play a Gnome Barbarian.
